Since just about every audio and video file is different, rates for transcription projects tend to vary as well.  We base our standard academic, legal and insurance transcription rates on the number of speakers, the quality of the audio and/or video file, and the total size of the project (we do offer quantity discounts).  Standard rates are based on the assumption that your audio is of good quality, that you need standard turnaround (3-5 days) and that you have no special formatting requests.

In the event that you need shorter turnaround times for your work, your audio quality is less than ideal (accents, background noise, severe talkovers) or you need special formatting, we have provided two charts below that summarize those charges.  These charges are the same for all of our specialized services; academic, legal and insurance transcription.

Refund Policy

Though we rarely need to redo transcriptions, if after payment is made, you are unsatisfied with your work, we will revise any errors. If you are still not satisfied we will refund 100% of your money.
